STINAPA Nature Fee e-tag

Have you paid your STINAPA Nature Fee E-tag yet?

Stichting Nationale Parken Bonaire (STINAPA) was founded in 1962. STINAPA is the organization that manages Bonaire’s nature parks on behalf of the Bonairian government. Something unique about Bonaire’s nature parks is that they are managed and maintained almost completely with funding and support from its visitors. Therefore, your contribution really makes a difference as it enables STINAPA to protect Bonaire’s valuable and vulnerable nature parks. STINAPA manages two parks: the Bonaire National Marine Park (BNMP) and the Washington Slagbaai National Park (WSNP).

As a diver or snorkeler you will be entering the Bonaire National Marine Park (BNMP) and therefor payment of a fee is required. The price is $ 40 per calendar year for divers and all other water sport enthusiasts.

It is now possible for all visitors of Bonaire to purchase the e-tag via stinapa.bonairenaturefee.org.

You can easily purchase your e-tag prior to arriving on island. You will receive a proof of purchase, which contains a QR-code in your e-mail. You could either save it on your device or have a print out of it. Once you arrive on Bonaire, the next step will be to contact Dive Diva Bonaire to talk you through the orientation process and get started with your dive vacation.

The e-tag will make the patrolling easier and quicker for the rangers and the visitors, as it will be a quick scan of the QR code to check if the e-tag is valid or not and in the case of loss of proof of payment it will be a quick search in the database.

Payment of the $ 40 fee also gives you free entry into the Washington Slagbaai National Park. Make sure you bring some form of ID with photo.
